The alphabet of tricks

Rune Glifberg believes skateboarding isn’t about inventing new foundational tricks, it’s about working with what's already available in your own artistic way. Development happens when you take two existing elements and combine them in a new way. In terms of tricks, skateboarding is structured like the alphabet, where each letter represents a foundational trick that is learned first. Afterwards, one can combine letters as desired, thereby creating their own expression.
